The two pie charts depict where the income of an American children’s charity comes from and the expenditure that charity incurs.

Overall, the vast majority of its revenue comes from donated food, while almost the entire amount of the expenditure is spent on program services.

In its entirety, this American children’s charity has revenue of $53,561,580. The food donated is by far the largest income source at 86.6%, more than six times as much as the other sources. These are contributions from the community at 10.4%, with another 2.2% of revenue from the program and the remaining 0.9% from various sources such as investment income and government grants.

As for this charity’s expenditure, as a whole it is $53,224,896. Almost all of this is spent on program services (95.8%) with the residual 4.2% split between fundraising (2.6%) and management and general expenses (1.6%).
