The illustration depicts the steps by which glass bottles are recycled.

Overall, it is clear from the diagram that there are three main stages in this process with stage two being the most complex.

In stage one, members of the public put empty bottles and jars into a collection point so the glass can be recycled. These glass items are then collected by a truck and driven to the cleaning plant.

In stage two, the glass bottles and jars are pressure cleaned before being sorted into colours. After this, the different coloured glass items are taken to to the recycling plant where they are melted down. This happens in a furnace where new liquid glass is added to the recycled liquid glass, after which, the mixture is put into moulds to form new bottles. In stage three, the new bottles are delivered to the supermarket to be filled and then sold to the customers.

  1. This illustration depicts the process of recycling the glass bottles.
Clearly, the whole process is divided into three stages, starting from collecting the waste bottles and ending with redistribution after filling with appropriate content.

Firstly, the collected waste bottles of any shape or size are taken to a collection point and then transferred to a cleaning plant. This is stage 2 where bottles are cleaned with high pressure water to remove all unwanted dirt and then they are bifurcated into three colors clear, green and brown. Following that, they are send in a recycling plant according to their color and melted in a furnace. Then this melted liquid glass is mixed with new liquid glass and poured in moulds of plethora of shapes and sizes in accordance with the requirements. Once these bottles are made, they are send to customer supermarkets where they are filled and again dispatched to enter supply chain.

Evidently, recycling of bottles is useful as not only it avoids frivolous wastage but also promotes jobs.
