Sample Answer

1 minute to compare and contrast the two pictures as well as answer the question.

I think both these people will be cycling to get some exercise, but maybe in different ways. The young woman in the first picture looks as if she is out cycling with friends in a park, maybe she is even learning there. The man in the second picture, on the other hand looks as if he is going somewhere, maybe to his work or home. He will need to concentrate much more than the young woman in the park due to the traffic around him and so he will need to much more aware of his safety if he feels he is going to have an accident. The young woman, however, will have a much softer landing on the grass in the park if something goes wrong for her. Because of this, the man is wearing a helmet and the girl isn’t.
