3 Sample Answers for the Question

Do You Enjoy the Same Kind of Music as Your Friends?

1/ Giving a reason

Absolutely. I really do, because my, my friends and I all grew up together and our kind of group, and so we were always into the same kind of music, into the same kind of sports and so on and doing things together. And so, we all like the same things. And, and so as far as music goes, yes.

2/ Speculation

I’m not really sure, to be quite honest with you, because, you know, I know I like the same music as some of my friends. You know, the friends I go to concerts with and so on. But other friends who maybe I play sports with, or other friends who maybe I’m a member of a club with, it’s something that we don’t really approach. And so, to be quite honest, I would imagine maybe some of them, but others I haven’t got a clue.

3/ Comparing to the past

My friends and I all used to like the same kind of music, but we’ve kind of drifted apart in that respect over, over the years. We all used to like pop music, whereas now some of, some people like rock, some people like jazz. Some people even like classical or choral music, believe it or not.
