B2 First Speaking Part 2 Quiz: Only 1 Minute!

B2 First Speaking
Question
Why are the people enjoying playing these games?

Sample Answer
1 minute to compare and contrast the two pictures as well as answer the question.
The children outside appear to be having fun playing football with their friends in a garden, while the two young male video gamers are in a darkened room. I guess they are all enjoying what they are doing by their body language and their facial expressions. From their clothes, the kids could be from two families or two groups of friends, so there may be some rivalry between them, whereas the two gamers may be playing together as a team against others online. The children are doing something healthy by playing an energetic sport, while the other two have probably been sitting in the same position for hours. The long shadows make it seem as if the kids are playing early on a sunny evening, while it is impossible to tell when the gamers are playing.
